SOCIAL Kayaking – Narrabeen Lakes Sunday 16th November

Join us for a fun day out kayaking the beautiful Narrabeen Lakes on Sydney's Northern beaches. Explore the tranquillity of the Narrabeen Lakes system, an ocean fed coastal lake abundant with pelicans and fish and surrounded by National Parks and Reserves. Whether you’re a beginner or an advanced kayaker, this will be a fun day out and a great way to mix and meet new people.
WHEN: Sunday 16th November 2008
We hit the water at 1.00pm to start kayaking.
However you must arrive at 12.15 to allow time to sign in, get fitted out in a life jacket, adjust the kayak to suit you, and listen as our instructor takes you through the finer points of paddling.
Finishes approximately 4:30pm.
MEETING POINT: Meet at 12.15 at Pro-Kayaks located at Narrabeen at 11 Narrabeen Street, Narrabeen. Look out for instructors Marky Mark, Michael or Vicki who will be wearing Life's An Adventure T-shirts
TRANSPORT: There are a few options to get you to the start of this kayak.
Driving: Drive by car & meet us at Pro Kayaks.

INCLUSIONS: Enjoy a fun day out and make new friends. Includes kayak and life jacket hire. We provide fresh fruit to enjoy during your kayak and a delicious lunch.

PAY ON THE DAY: For those who choose to pay on the day at the kayak, you will need to email us with your intention to attend, as this is a catered event and we need to ensure we have ample food. Simply click on the link below to advise us you are attending. Please mention 'Kayak Narrabeen Lakes' in the subject line and include the number of people in your group. Please be aware this event may sell out, so we recommend guaranteeing your place by pre-paying, plus your kayak hire needs to be pre-arranged, so you must email us that you will be attending.

WHAT TO BRING: To ensure you keep well hydrated, please bring at least 1.5 litres of drinking water. We also recommend a hat and sunscreen and if you want to enjoy the beach, bring your swimming costume and a towel. A life jacket will be provided for you. It's a good idea to bring a towel and change of clothes for after the kayak.
WHAT TO WEAR: You will get wet when kayaking, so please wear comfortable lightweight clothes (no jeans), wear a hat and crocs or shoes which can get wet. Bring your swimming costume if you would like to enjoy a swim.
FITNESS LEVEL: This is a 2 hour social paddle, suitable for all persons of reasonable fitness from beginners to advanced. If you are unsure that your fitness level is suitable for this event, please email us to qualify your ability.

WHAT HAPPENS IF IT RAINS? This kayak will still go ahead if it rains (Bring a light weight wet weather jacket if there looks likes there is a chance of rain), however if the weather is extreme the kayak will be postponed to a future date. Pre-paid tickets will be credited to the new date or another future event; sorry we cannot refund your money.

THE DAY: When you arrive on the day, you will need to check in with your Life's An Adventure Staff. You must sign for any pre-paid tickets or pay cash if you have chosen the 'pay on the day' option and fill in our indemnity form.
